He has spent his entire acting career portraying super tough action men.
And Arnold Schwarzenegger showed his softer side as he enjoyed an afternoon bonding session with one of his kids.
The 67-year-old actor was spotted on a bike trip with his son Patrick in the Venice neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Wednesday.

No doubt it was a fun boys trip for the 21-year-old model, who recently split with pop star Miley Cyrus, as he was also joined by two male pals.
Arnold reportedly met with Patrick and his chums half way through their bike trek as they all headed to the iconic Gold's Gym together for a workout.
The Jingle All The Way star was dressed perfectly for the outing as he wore a black track jacket along with a pair of navy blue athletic shorts and brown suede loafers.
The father-of-five's short brown locks blew in the wind as he sported a pair of wayfarer shades.
Patrick was also dressed comfortably in a grey long-sleeved top with grey Nike Tech Fleece sweatpants and red and white Nike Flyknit Lunar sneakers.
Arnold has been doing plenty of male bonding as of late as he was spotted on an outing with fellow action man and friend, Sylvester Stallone, just a few days ago.
The 68-year-old famous for his Rocky series of boxing films even joked about taking on Arnie in the ring to decide who is the greatest action hero of them all with photographers as they left an LA restaurant together on Saturday.
The screen legends were making their way through the parking lot when one of the snappers asked the Rocky star what he thought of the Mayweather Pacquiao fight last weekend.
'Yeah I would have thought that the place would have erupted into celebration that everyone was so happy,' he replied.
But when asked if he would watch the rematch, the actor replied 'of course I will', before he suddenly came up with a better suggestion.
'Actually Arnold and I are going to do the rematch. We're going to do a guest replacement,' he said, adding that the number of rounds they would go would be 'Probably about 30'.
